India to export green energy to Singapore from 2025, Greenko-Keppel sign Hydrogen MoU

India will for the first-time export green energy from 2025, with the first shipments going to a Singapore power plant under an MoU signed by an India-based dispatchable renewables company and Singapore’s energy business on Tuesday. The MoU to explore opportunities in green hydrogen potential in India will see Greenko group and Singapore’s Keppel Infrastructure working towards a 250,000 tonne per annum contract to be supplied to Keppel’s new 600Mw power plant in Singapore. Further, the contract for the export of green ammonia would also expand to cover bunker fuel through the Keppel network in Singapore’s network of bunker fuel supplies to ships, said Mahesh Kolli, President and Joint Managing Director of Greenko Group. Thu Thao named as Vietnamese representative at Miss Earth 2022

The announcement of Thu Thao as the nation’s representative was made during a ceremony held on October 19 in Ho Chi Minh City. Truong Ngoc Anh, chairwoman of the board of Nova Entertainment, which organises Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam, told the assembled media that Thu Thao fully meets the criteria for the global contest. Anh also announced that the country will officially play host to Miss Earth 2023. The world’s fourth largest beauty contest is scheduled to get underway in the central coastal city of Nha Trang and will feature the participation of nearly 100 contestants from across the globe. Thu Thao, 21, hails from Tra Vinh province and stands at 1.78 metres tall, weighs 50kg, and has body measurement of 74-61-88. She first rose to prominence during the grand finale of Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 when she won the second runner-up title.  Moving forward, the Vietnamese beauty will depart for Miss Earth 2022 on November 10.
